Offence

The Lord Has been really highlighting this to us in the last little while, we thought we had our heads around it but we was wrong. Offence comes everyday big and small and if left unchecked is a joy killer, quickly moving you into wrong positions and postures. Jesus said someone offended is harder to win than a fortified city, in those days nothing was more secure than a fortified city.

Offences causing separation on all levels between individuals and groups. People took offence with Jesus and missed God. People get offended with what God is doing today and miss God. Because of harboring offences and getting offended we miss God moving and miss opportunities and relationships.

“It’s all God” is a phrase a mindset that the Lord has given me lately, it’s a powerful way to view your days and weeks, the good and the bad. We got a big God we don’t have to be so prickly. Think about the last time getting or being offended was really beneficial to you, correct never, it’s never a powerful response.

Give them up old and new, let go of the ‘“right” to take offence and let’s give God some room.
