NO TO THE BULLY

In second Kings chapter 17 we have the tragic account of the nation of Israel going into captivity. There were a number of causes, the number one being “they feared other gods”. 2022 is here, if we don’t wont to end up in situations and places we should not be then we cannot face this year with any fear. Fear will take us into all kinds of captivity.

With all your doing this year prioritize facing down and eradicating fears. They clamor for center stage but Jesus has that position and He is unafraid. Fear is not a wise friend but a thief. Be practical, get with God and deal with any fears intentionally. Tackle them one by one, none are valid, they are all an illegal presence in our minds. Don’t be fooled fear is an unnatural state of mind for a child of God.

But its hard we cry, cool learn to live with it and get ready to embrace captivity. I’ve been fearful of many things over the years but I don’t want fear to plan my future for me. It’s past time for fear to go.

My wife just made the comment “if you don’t push back fear will continually bully you”. No one likes a bully.
