Eat your words

Was praying with some folk yesterday and one man of God challenged us about prayer and declarations. His challenge was this , once you’ve prayed and declared what you believe God is saying about a situation then you need to order and discipline your conversation to match the declaration. I've been guilty of this, get all full of faith and boldly declare some things and then find yourself saying the opposite in your daily life. He said you must discipline yourself speak in agreement with the faith declaration.

In Matthew 21:22 it says “And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.” We cant confess in faith then walk around speaking un belief about the very same thing.

Pro 18:20-21

A man’s stomach shall be satisfied from the fruit of his mouth;
From the produce of his lips he shall be filled.

Death and life are in the power of the tongue,
And those who love it will eat its fruit.

Lets give ourselves a good diet this week. The old saying goes you are what you eat. I’m poor, Its hard, no one cares etc. Lets have a listen to what’s coming out of our mouths this week. Don’t just stop bad things coming out lets give ourselves a treat eat something wholesome and tasty.
